Calling All Green Thumbs

Screen shot 2013-05-27 at 1.50.38 PMA Note from the City of Surrey: With our stewardship season in full swing, we were wondering if members of the OPCA/OPBA or any residents of Ocean Park would be interested in joining us for a Nature Work Party at Kwomais Point Park on July 13, 2013. We will be removing invasive plants and cleaning up this beautiful park. As usual, we will be bringing all the tools necessary for the job as well as refreshments. We will be working on this park over the summer with the objective of clearing invasive species from a big enough area to allow a fall planting. We will be there from 10:30 to 1:00 pm and interested volunteers can drop by anytime.
