This picture is of three old friends Pete Allanson, Ed Fader and Don Welch who have lived in Ocean Park, B.C. since the mid 1940s. They went to the same elementary schools, travelled together on the school bus and attended the original Semiahmoo High School. Also attended all the sports and functions at the Ocean Park Hall. Hunted, crabbed and fished down at the beach; raced their soap boxes down to the beach from the end of Horner Road (15A) then turning right on the road that ran parallel to the bank down to the railroad station and trestle. They would spend most of their days at the beach until they had to go up to do their chores. Enjoy listening to more stories of their life in Ocean Park through our series of Ocean Park Podcasts.
